We have two full time teachers of Business. It is a popular option choice at both GCSE and A level. At GCSE our students begin the course by completing a mini-enterprise project to introduce them to the world of business. Students are encouraged to participate in the Student Investor Competition each year and the Sixth form are given the opportunity to become involved in the Young Enterprise Programme. Business is part of the Commerce Department. Resources are very good with business having the use of an ICT suite with an interactive whiteboard and 30 networked PCs. The department also has two classrooms, both with interactive whiteboards.
