BTEC in Public Services is taught at both KS4 and KS5 at levels 2 and 3 respectively. It is taught by an experienced, enthusiastic team. The course is engaging and allows students to develop a greater understanding of world events and their impact on UK Public Services. The course involves contact with experienced Public Services including employees from the Army to employees with the NHS. Public Services is part of the Commerce Department. Resources are very good and students have regular access to an ICT suite with an interactive whiteboard and 30 networked PCs. The department also has two classrooms, both with interactive whiteboards.
