This is a new BTEC qualification that is the equivalent to one GCSE. It is offered as an alternative to modern foreign languages in key stage 4
In response to the demand for employable people, Edexcel has developed WorkSkills, a new, flexible suite of BTEC qualifications suitable for learners of all ages and at all stages of their working lives.
The BTEC intends to equip young people and adults with the skills to obtain employment and build confidence so that they can retain jobs and improve life chances for themselves and their families. WorkSkills builds on the ABC of employability - Attitude, Behaviour and Communication - to develop the skills that employers are looking for.
