Parents staff association

The PSA (Parent Staff Association) of Epsom & Ewell High School are very pro-active in raising funds for the school.  In 2009, the PSA donated £800 towards a new lighting control board for the Drama Department which will be used for GCSE and A level course work and for school productions;£500 was donated towards the purchase of text books for the English Department and £400 was given towards a plasma screen for the Sixth Form.

So far in 2010, £250 has been agreed for the purchase of an additional table tennis table and bats for PE tuition and the extra curricular activities and £400 is being given towards the cost of a workshop designed to support Year 10 and 11 students prepare themselves for their exams later in the year.

The PSA are continually thinking up new ways of raising funds.  Successful events such as the Christmas Hamper Raffle and Pamper Evening are now becoming popular annual events. We have also organised a rave for Years 7 and 8! Tea and coffee refreshments at Parents'Evenings are also provided by the PSA and are a valuable way of raising funds.

Every Parent and all Staff are members of EEHS PSA. We meet every six weeks to pool new ideas and drum up support for any upcoming events. However, we appreciate that not everyone is able to commit to a meeting on a regular basis so you can support us in the following ways:

  • Helping out at events whenever you are able to;
  •  Handing out publicity leaflets;
  • Attend an event, inviting friends/family;
  • Donate/recycle your unwanted mobile phones and ink cartridges by handing them into the school office in a bag marked 'PSA'. For further information, contact Sue Overy - 020 8393 8872;
  • Use our www.buy.at/EEHS website whenever you shop on-line. There are over 100 sites to explore. We earn money from each transaction, at no extra cost to you.
  • We are registered with HMRC for Gift Aid, which means for every £1 you donate to us, we get another 28p from the taxman whenever you complete a form.  For further information, please contact Sue Overy - 020 8393 8872;
  • Donating any out grown school uniform (hand it into the school office or bring it along to a Parents'Evening. We sell this at most Parents' Evenings. For further information, please contact Helen Brent - 020 8393 9369.

We are a very friendly and welcoming group and have a great team spirit, working towards the aim of raising funds for a fantastic school. If you would like to join our little band and help raise funds, please leave your details with the School Office and we will contact you.
