The geography department is an exciting one, with lots going on. There are three full time members of staff teaching the subject.

The subject has become a very popular choice for both GCSE and A level due to the high grades achieved and the commitment shown to our students.

Geography offers students in each year group the opportunity to take part in a field trip related to their studies; an activity which we believe helps consolidate their learning. Previous trips have included destinations such as Iceland, with the department looking forward to planning more exciting trips for our students in 2018.

There are extra-curricular clubs run by geography, including a film club, a gifted and talented workshop and extended revision hours for exam groups.

As a team we want the best for our students and believe a collaborative approach between teacher, student and parent will lead to the best results, so if you ever have any questions or queries we would really like to hear from you. All our email addresses can be found on the staff contact list.
