2017 Summer exam performance embeds the school’s reputation for high performance.

All A level students were accepted by either their first or second choice university place and GCSE results were very strong despite the challenges of the new maths and English assessments.

Attainment figures for GCSE maths and English have placed EEHS within the top 30% of schools nationally, 72% of our students achieved a level 4 or above in maths and 65% achieved a C or above in at least 2 sciences. For these subjects, EEHS performed in the top 25% of schools nationally. 35% of students achieved the EBacc standard which consists of a grade C or above in maths, English, 2 sciences, a language and either history or geography – a notable 11% over the national average.

At A level 100% of grades were A*-E, with 71% at A*-C.  The average points scored by students taking A Level courses was 33.6 (C+), again significantly higher than both the Surrey and national averages, with students accepted into some of the top institutions in the country to read subjects including medicine, chemistry, economics and aerospace engineering.
