UCAS

In the Sixth Form we provide comprehensive and personal advice to all students applying to university through UCAS. The preparation we offer is varied including university trips, talks from external speakers as well as workshops on personal statements and course choices, to name but a few. Students work closely with their form tutors, the Head of Sixth Form, the school’s careers specialist and the SLT to ensure that every student receives personal advice which leads to the selection of ambitious yet appropriate courses and institutions.

In order to assist students to navigate the wide range of university courses available we encourage students to use Unifrog – a software programme which provides ideas about appropriate careers, courses and universities in response to declared interests and aptitudes. Students are issued with passwords by their tutors and have guided sessions by our careers specialist. Students can click on the link below to login:

We are proud to have seen our students go on to continue their academic studies at a range of institutions, including in recent year Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. Please click on the document below which sets out the destinations of our 2015 leavers. We wish them all the success in their academic endeavours!
