"I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career, lost almost 300 games, missed the game winning shot 26 times. I’ve failed over and over again in my life. That is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan

Sport at Epsom and Ewell High school is growing by the term with participation at clubs across both KS3 and KS4 consistently reaching 80/90 students overall each day. Participation numbers we could only dream of even two or three years ago. This increase has had a very positive impact on the success of our teams across the board too, with our football and netball teams regularly and convincingly winning matches and competitions now across the majority of year groups.

The students here at Epsom and Ewell High School access a wide range of sports across the curriculum during both the Winter and Summer terms, including football, netball, rugby, basketball, trampolining and gymnastics to name a few. The ability to offer such a wide range of sports is due to the facilities we have here which include a large sports hall, separate gymnasium, multiple fields and a large all weather outdoor synthetic pitch.

At KS4, in order to tailor to the needs of all students within Epsom and Ewell High School we offer a number of different pathways to suit various styles of learning. These include GCSE PE, a Level 2 Cambridge National in Sport Studies and a Level 2 BTec in Health and Social Care. Students are carefully selected to ensure they are on the correct course in order for them to progress and achieve the best possible grade for them.
