Our curriculum

At Epsom & Ewell High School, students benefit from an ambitious curriculum from key stage 3 through to key stage 5, giving them the opportunity to continue their learning with us into their post-16 studies.

Across the school we offer more than 30 subjects, taught by specialist staff with strong subject expertise, ensuring that every student is challenged to achieve their absolute best. Our curriculum is designed to stretch and inspire students, supporting them to ROAR in their learning - developing resilience when tackling challenging ideas, remaining open-minded when exploring different perspectives, aspiring to achieve their very best, and reflecting on their progress to continually improve.

Beyond the classroom, students are supported through a range of additional opportunities, including a homework club that runs throughout the week to provide guidance and support outside of core lessons. All students are encouraged to take part in at least one extra-curricular club each term and can engage with programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and The Brilliant Club. Highlights include our annual school production, extensive sporting programme, and house competitions, all of which foster teamwork, confidence, and a strong sense of community.

Students learn in a modern, well-equipped environment, with large classrooms, dedicated arts and performance spaces, and excellent sporting facilities. These spaces provide the practical and creative resources students need to succeed, supporting learning, enrichment, and personal development across every stage of the curriculum.
