Welcome to the Sixth Form

We are delighted that you are considering Epsom & Ewell High School (EEHS) Sixth Form for September 2027.

Choosing where to study after Year 11 is a big decision. At EEHS Sixth Form, we want you to feel confident in your choice and what you can expect from your Sixth Form experience.

Whether you have been at EEHS since Year 7 or are joining us from another school, Sixth Form is a new stage of your journey. You’ll have the opportunity to learn in a more independent environment, explore new interests, and start thinking about what comes next. It is my pleasure to invite you to see our sixth form community.

Sixth Form is an exciting next step. It brings greater independence, new opportunities, and the chance to focus on subjects you genuinely enjoy. At EEHS, we want every student to feel known, supported and ambitious about what comes next.

Whether you are already part of EEHS or are considering joining us from another school, we look forward to welcoming your application.

Why choose EEHS Sixth Form?

Small classes

Our smaller classes create a focused learning environment where you’re known by your teachers and have more opportunities to ask questions, contribute to discussion, and receive feedback. Our teachers get to know how you learn, your strengths and where you may need further support or challenge - helping you make the most of your time in the Sixth Form.

Your own mentor

Every student benefits from individual mentoring and regular one-to-one support. Your mentor will help you reflect on your progress, set goals and make decisions about your next steps.

Choices that work for you

We offer a wide choice of courses so you can create a programme that reflects your strengths, interests, and future ambitions.

A new space for Sixth Form

Our new Sixth Form block has dedicated study areas and individual study pods, giving you purpose-built spaces to work independently, revise and collaborate with other students. There’s also space to relax, take a break and spend time with friends.

Careers guidance built around you

There is no single destination after Sixth Form. University, apprenticeships, employment and other routes all require different preparation. Our careers programme is personalised to your goals, helping you explore options, strengthen applications, and build the experiences that will make you stand out.

You’ll have access to one-to-one guidance, university and apprenticeship support, opportunities to engage with employers and gain work-related experience, alongside help developing the skills and experiences that future universities and employers value.

Opportunities beyond the classroom

Sixth Form should be about more than lessons and exams. You’ll be able to take part in trips and visits, our enrichment programme, leadership and volunteering, as well as experiences linked to your subjects and future ambitions. These opportunities help you build confidence and independence, strengthen your CV or university application, and give you the chance to learn beyond the classroom.

A seven-year journey

For students who have been with us since Year 7, Sixth Form is the final stage of a seven-year journey through EEHS.

You already know our community, our teachers and our values. Sixth Form gives you the opportunity to experience school differently, with greater independence, more responsibility and greater choice in how you learn and prepare for your future.

For students joining us in Year 12, you become part of that community straight away. Our Sixth Form makes it easier to get to know people quickly and to feel that you belong.

Your Sixth Form experience. Your next step.
