SEND

At EEHS we expect all students to study a broad and balanced curriculum and students with SEND are no exception to this.

We believe offering a broad and balanced curriculum, along with additional support where necessary, is the route to success for all students. There is strong evidence that studying a modern foreign language is extremely beneficial to students with SEND. Studying a language can:

  • Improve understanding of language constructs
  • Improve articulation
  • Develop social skills
  • Develop cultural awareness
  • Improve memory
  • Build self-esteem

Specialist Resourced Provision for Deaf Children
