Our digital future

As a Wave One school, we are at the forefront of digital transformation. Through six key work streams, we are ensuring digital equity and preparing our students to thrive in an increasingly technological world.

This programme is about more than introducing new tools. It is about transforming how learning happens - using technology to spark innovation, personalise learning and create a more inclusive and ambitious future for every student.

1:1 device programme

Providing every student with a personal learning device to ensure equity of access and opportunity.

Our 1:1 device programme sits at the heart of digital equity. By placing an iPad in the hands of every learner, we remove barriers to information, creativity and collaboration. Students can access resources, develop new skills and continue learning wherever they are, ensuring technology enhances learning both inside and beyond the classroom.

AI development

Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to personalise learning and support teachers.

We are exploring the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence in education. From tools that support personalised learning to systems that help reduce administrative workload for staff, AI has the potential to enhance teaching and learning while allowing teachers to focus on what matters most - working directly with students.

Data and systems

Using intelligent data systems to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.

High-quality data helps us understand and support every learner more effectively. By developing integrated systems and clear insights, we are enabling staff to respond quickly to students’ needs and make informed decisions that strengthen teaching and learning across the school.

The digital spine

The human network behind digital transformation.

Technology alone does not transform schools - people do. The Digital Spine connects expertise from Trust level through to the classroom, ensuring our school benefits from strong digital leadership and support. Senior digital leaders, staff digital leads and student digital leaders work together to share ideas, build confidence and drive innovation.

Digital nutrition

Promoting healthy and responsible digital habits.

As technology becomes a larger part of everyday life, it is important that students develop positive and balanced digital behaviours. Our focus on digital nutrition encourages students to be thoughtful consumers and creators online, balancing screen time with offline activities and developing respectful and responsible online interactions.
